The Te Awamutu i-SITE Visior Information Centre is located next to Te Awamutu's iconic Rose Gardens, and is the perfect base for your Waikato holiday.

The friendly staff are happy to help plan and book your Waikato holiday, and have expert local knowledge. Whether you want to enjoy some regional activities, find out more about Te Awamutu history, visit the Neil & Tim Finn Exhibition at Te Awamutu Museum, or explore the region at your own pace, the i-SITE staff are ready to help!

Bookings can also be made at the i-SITE for local attractions, transport and accommodation.

Details

Opening Times: The Te Awamutu i-SITE Visitor Centre opens 7 days a week. Summer months: 9:00am - 5:30pm, weekends/public holidays 10.00 - 4:00pm. Closed Christmas Day. Winter months: 9:00am - 4:30pm, weekends/holidays 10.00am - 3:30pm. Free maps & brochures: Call in to pick up a Te Awamutu brochure or free maps of Te Awamutu, Kihikihi and Pirongia.
Entertainment: Tickets for the annual Lions Club of Te Awamutu Food & Wine Festival are currently on sale. The event takes place on Saturday 17th March 10am - 6.00pm at Selwyn Park Opposite Rose Gardens. It is $10 entry which includes a souvenir wine glass This will be a big day with an Irish flavour as it falls on St Patrick's day.
