Tui Nature Reserve Wilderness Park and accommodation is part of a 160 hectare isolated peninsula in the Outer Pelorus Sound, Marlborough Sounds. They offer one fully self contained cottage located at the edge of the forest, boasting exceptional panoramic views of the Pelorus from every window and the veranda, as well as two eco cabins. A 4wd vehicle will take you up to your accommodation, which is located 180m above sea level, with amazing views! Explore Tui Nature Reserve walking tracks, views, secluded beaches (kayaks available), native bush or just relax on the deck or veranda of yoremote hide away.
The reserve has been a family run conservation project for the past 12 years. It is made up of 42 hectares, of which most are protected by the QE National Trust. Recently we started a breeding programme with Kakariki (NZ native Parakeet) and the Marlborough Green Gecko.
There is something for every one. One thing is for sure, you will have an unique wilderness park experience!
