The Waihi Information Centre caters for all visitors, holidaymakers and locals and provides information and brochures relating to tourist attractions throughout New Zealand but focussing on Waihi and the surrounding district. The town has a compact shopping and accommodation area, with not a mall in sight.

The helpful staff will assist you in finding what you are after. The centre's operating hours are 7 days a week, 9:00am to 5:00pm in summer and 9:00am to 4:30pm in winter.

I went to Judes garden with my 19 year old son, my friend and her 20 year old daughter and we were equally blown away by the hour or so we spent there.
