The royalty of the animal kingdom, the native emblem and playful penguins live in the middle of this city. Auckland Zoo creates a true home away from home for animals around the world via natural enclosures. The zoo isn't large in size, but is spacious and easy to explore.

Exhibits include a meekrat domain, an African animals enclosure, a nocturnal house and an underwater exhibit with penguins and sea lions.
