I am a contemporary NZ artist interested in colourful woman figures, surrealism, humourous works as well as things a little more edgy!!!

I enjoy imaginative works and prefer to 'interpret', rather than paint what I see or what is in front of me. Realism is of no importance to me and I find it interesting when asked to explain what I have painted. Often there is no real 'issue' or significance as such, it's just fun. However, occasionally there is a lot more depth to my work and not all of it I wish to divulge. I prefer that the viewer just enjoys the painting for what it is and not for any great explanatory reasoning or analysis of me!

My works are ever-evolving as I choose to paint intuitively and with whatever the mood takes. The fact of the matter is … I just like to play! Enjoy!!
