Experience the beauty and history of Akaroa Harbour while sailing aboard the classic 85 year old, 50 foot ketch, FOX II. Relax and enjoy the sun, sea and hills as you watch the Southern Ocean birds, the penguins, albatross, and other rare marine life, or you may wish to join the crew in a hands-on sailing experience.

Each trip varies depending on the wind direction or the sea conditions. One day you may explore sea caves and rock formations, on another you may sail out through the Akaroa heads into the Pacific Ocean to view the southern seabirds. There are always marine creatures leaping alongside.

Fox II is the perfect platform for the keen photographer.

Opening Times: Departs daily at 10:30am and 1:30pm from December to May from Daly's Wharf, behind the Akaroa Post Office and Information Centre.
