For most people the opportunity to drive a racing car is a distant dream. When you actually drive an F1 style "wings and slicks" Formula Challenge single seater, the experience is unforgettable. Whatever your objective - whether it be personal or corporate entertainment - the exhilaration and benefits are enormous. Formula Challenge is an approved MotorSport New Zealand Motor Racing School and whatever your skill level, the cars can be driven by novices in complete safety. The Taupo Motorsport Park is located on the corner of Centennial Drive and Broadlands Rd, Taupo. Formula Challenge can be found on the East side of the Motorsport Park and is easiest to access from Broadlands Rd.

Getting There: This experience takes place at Taupo Motorsport Park, Broadlands Road, Taupo. Turn left at the main roundabout by Woolworths and proceed up Spa Road for 5kms until Broadlands Road T-intersection. Turn left and drive down Broadlands Road - you are now driving next to the main straight of the racetrack. Once at the end of racetrack, turn left again and the main entrance is 50 metres on your left.
Please Note: We provide approved safety race suits, boots, helmets and gloves. Bottled water, coffee, tea or soup are complimentary. In winter you should bring a waterproof wind jacket, snug hat and suitable light clothing to wear under race suits. In summer bring a cap or sun hat and sunscreen. Catered morning tea and lunch are available by arrangement only. Spectators are welcome but must comply with track side rules. Small charge for refreshments. Private camera and video use are welcome.
