Jewel of India is a traditional Indian Restaurant in the seaside suburb of Mission Bay, Auckland. This award winning restaurant has long been recognised as the premier Indian establishment on the Auckland waterfront as well as being one of Auckland's best kept secrets.
The menu is extensive with a number of innovative authentic dishes (including a good choice for vegetarians). Exceptional value for money, many of the dishes are prepared in a tandoor clay oven, which seals in the juices and imparts a distinctive smoky flavour preserving the subtle use of herbs and spices. All dishes can be ordered as takeaways.
The restaurant has a liquor license and extensive wine list, but diners are also welcome to bring their own wine (BYOW).
