At the mouth of the Waikato River, Port Waikato Holiday Park is set on 3ha of park-like grounds. This quiet and secluded family camp offers 50 tent and 65 powered sites, with self-catering motel units, budget, tourist and kitchen cabins as well as caravan sites. There is a bed for every budget.

Take a walk around the rocks to the seal colony and check out some fossils. The Nikau Glowworm cave is a must see and Sunset Beach is just 1km away, famous for its beautiful glowing red sunsets.
