Sunset Lodge is Taupo's smallest and cosiest family run hostel providing you with a personal and friendly service, set in a quiet location. Sunset Lodge offer single, twin, double, and dormitory rooms with campsites also available.

Located only a few minutes walk away from the beautiful lakes edge and local shops, and five minutes drive from all the skydive companies, Taupo Hot Springs and the beautiful Taupo Botanical Gardens.

After all your adrenaline-pumping activities, come back and relax on the sunny deck or curl up next to the log fire! Our whare (home) is your whare! So come be part of our whanau (family).

Their showers and bath are the best!! Always hot with excellent pressure!!! Nice and peaceful, very relaxing and only a 3 minute drive from the town centre.The free service shuttle to and from town is great and the free freshly baked breads in the weekend are a real treat!!
