The Crossing Backpackers and Erua Lodge, a relaxed, comfortable and friendly hostel provides backpackers style accommodation for up to 145 people. Rooms are furnished with bunks and some with double beds and en suite bathroom with microwave oven and kitchenette. Motel units are also available.

The best place to stay and the friendliest place to relax after a great day on the slopes, with drying rooms and hot fireplaces to keep you warm.

Set on a huge property with many activities to keep you entertained, the Crossing Backpackers and Erua Lodge is in an ideal location to pursue the many adventure activities for which the Tongariro National Park is famous. These include tramping, climbing, mountaineering and fishing, cycling, snowboarding, horse trekking and the world famous Tongariro Crossing.
