Methven Resort Hotel provides travellers with a base to explore the breathtaking local scenery and try some of the activities from fishing to skydiving.

We have everything you would expect from a top resort like a restaurant, bar, 25m heated swimming pool, spa, outdoor hot pools and a private sauna. There are 50 guest rooms including two suites and six superior rooms. Various conference rooms are also available to cater for up to 450 people.

On your doorstep are the magnificent Southern Alps, which form the backbone of the entire South Island. Methven is famous for its après ski village nightlife and the easy 30 minute drive to the bottom of the Mt Hutt ski fields renowned for having the longest and most consistent ski season in the southern hemisphere.
