Little River Campground is uniquely, beautiful and small scaled. It offers the lush beauty of the West Coast yet it is only 40 minutes from Christchurch! Snatch a romantic overnight getaway staying in one of our five cute cabins, or take your family camping for the holidays. We offer powered and tent sites tucked into the bush and beside the river, also a tipi for a different experience! The common kitchen is fully equipped, has a herb garden and a dining area. For evenings, there is a big living area with comfortable couches, a log burner, books, games and a pool table. Hot showers are free for campers. The Okuti River separates the campground from Manaia Native Habitat, to which campers enjoy free access. There is a distinctly retro feel for a good old fashioned holiday experience, thats what what were about.
