Bamber House

Bamber House is an owner operated backpacker hostel in by Mt Eden in Auckland city. It's set in a lovely old colonial home (1910) with large gardens, offstreet parking, and is only 2.5km from the CBD.

Accommodation at Bamber House is for two, in either twin or double rooms, or for three/four guests in share rooms. All linen is supplied, and all guests have access to the guest lounge, well equipped guest kitchen and free off-street parking. The hostel also has a solar heated outdoor pool; making it the only backpacker hostel in Auckland with a pool.

The two storey house is set on spacious grounds on the slopes of Mt Eden, and has wireless internet access for laptops, is centrally gas heated and has a cosy lounge room with log fire.

All beds are made up with sheets and duvets for your comfort and convenience (included in price), and guests may use the large guest kitchen as if they were at home.
