The Malthouse

Malthouse boasts the largest range of tap beers in New Zealand - and in the Southern Hemisphere for that matter. Many of the beers on tap are natural or boutique beers. This means they are brewed following the Bavarian Purity Laws for Brewing of 1516. The law known as Reinheitsgebot states that the only ingredients allowed are grain, hops, yeast and pure water.
