Situated in the heart of Courtenay Place in Central Wellington, Coyote Street Bar and Restaurant stands out from the Euro-style eateries with its adobe walls, high timber ceilings, exposed roof trusses and copper, steel & timber fixtures surrounding a central island bar. Coyote Wellington opened in 1998 and is now a well established icon in the busy Courtenay Place district - you can't miss it on your way through town.
The enormous courtyard with convenient indoor/outdoor flow and ample seating provides a welcoming, social atmosphere of earthy tones and natural light. This is continued inside with the aid of seven enormous wrought iron & sculptured glass skylights.
The aim of the Coyote menu is to create dishes which suit their surroundings. The large and exciting menu is prepared with Cajun and Southwestern influences, along with a wide range of New Zealand specialties, such as West Coast whitebait, culminating in a style which is truly a Coyote experience.
