Whangaparaoa Railway

The Whangaparaoa Railway is the creation of Ted Pointon's childhood dream. At age 18 he purchased the Whangaparaoa property to build a 15 inch gauge railway on, where you can now enjoy a steam train ride through this lovely farm and bush setting, feed the animals, including sheep, goats, rabbits and more. Children can run around the playground or venture off on a bush walk. There is entertainment for children and adults alike.

This grand ride will delight people of all ages and is ideally located only 35 minutes from central Auckland.
