Mountain Shuttle provides daily services for the Tongariro crossing from Taupo, Turangi, and Whakapapa; and shuttle services for most Department of Conservation managed walkways within the Tongariro National Park.

Included in the Mountain Shuttle service is exclusive access to the Ketetahi hot springs; which is a five minute detour from the main crossing track. Two nights free camping is available to people using Mountain Shuttle services.

They'll be happy to take your money ($18 return), but don't expect service. Some staff very rude, and we had to wait for over an hour at the end of the day. Not good enough! ... Read More
