Sheltered Waters Backpackers is a peaceful, family friendly backpacker hostel located a short stroll from the township of Russell. The lodge delivers high quality accommodation at budget prices.

Enjoy the homely atmosphere and serenity of this special place as you listen to the native birds amongst the palms, and talk to the ring-necked parrots. There is a barbeque area, courtyards and a spa bath to relax in after an exciting day out in the Bay or a swim at Long Beach.

Sheltered Waters is wheelchair-friendly and equipped with sprinklers and emergency lighting for your safety. They offer three different rooms; ensuite (sleeps four), double and bunk room. There is a large fully equipped kitchen plus laundry, internet, fax and phone access. Sheltered Waters Backpackers also has a trampoline, bikes and tennis equipment available.
