Step back in time with a rejuvinating holiday at Beach Road Cottage in the historical village of Kohukohu. The town was once the biggest of Hokianga Harbour, but these days has a population of just 220 and is peaceful spot for a quiet holiday.
The cottage was built in the 1880's and retains it's old world charm with fragrant gardens and traditional colour schemes. A self contained kitchen, BBQ and seperate dining room allows for a self contained holiday; no need to spend a fortune on eating out. For those not wishing to cook, the Kohukohu village has a cafe and hotel, and the vehicle ferry to Rawene is just 3km away.
The cottage is positioned on a small elevated headland within Hokianga Harbour, and affords lovely views in all directions. Plenty of verandas provide room to retreat and relax away from others, or have a barbecue with friends. Up to four guests may stay at Beach Road Cottage, with additional accommodation available in a neighbouring house.
