Harcourt Holiday Park

Harcourt Holiday Park is set on four acres of native bush at the mouth of the scenic Akatarawa Valley, only 25 minutes from Wellington. In a beautifully peaceful setting the only sounds you will hear are the native birds and the flow of the adjacent Hutt River.

Accommodation types range from motels and tourist flats to cabins, power and tent sites. Our modern motels and tourist flats are all in private settings and are comfortably furnished. Each has a separate ensuite bedroom and a full self-catering kitchen with fridge and remote control television set. There is a clean and modern amenities block available to campers with showers and toilets, kitchen and laundry. A gas barbecue is also available to guests.

If you want to relax and just listen to the birds or enjoy outdoor activities, Harcourt Holiday Park is the perfect location. The river has an excellent swimming area that is within walking distance from the park, or you can fish for trout (licence required), take a short or long bush walk nearby, mountain bike on the world class Karapoti circuit or visit one of the local gardens or wildlife attractions.
