You can eat fresh organic produce from the garden or sit outside in a "hot bath" at night, marvelling at the stars and the clarity of the sky.

There are unique restaurants, cafes and shops close by, with only a short walk or a 2 minute drive to Flaxmill Bay, Lonely Bay, Front Beach, Cooks Beach or the ferry to Whitianga. The famous Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach are a short 10-15 min drive away.

Getting There: From Auckland take State Highway 1 on the Southern Motorway to Bombay, turn left onto SH2 and follow the signs to Thames via SH25. Just after crossing on a long, traffic light controlled one-way bridge, you reach Kopu. Turn right following the sign to Tairua and Whitianga. 800 metres past Kopu turn left on SH25A. Follow the SH25, and then turn right at Whenuakite onto Hot Water Beach road. Turn first left onto Purangi Road and follow the directions to Cooksbeach. 2km past the Cooks Beach turn off you arrive at Flaxmill Bay and turn left at Eggsentric restaurant. Drive past the parking area and up the steep gravel road for 1.5km. We are on the left on the top of the hill, where the road takes a sharp left hand bend - look for our sign at the gate.
