Mairenui Rural Retreat

Mairenui Rural Retreat offer a combination of accommodation for up to 20, spaced over three houses. You can expect to sample fine food and wine and enjoy cordial hospitality and a warm New Zealand welcome.

The Villa, a 100 year old homestead, accommodating 10 has been kept true to character that means a wind up gramophone in place of a tv or sound system, open fires and lots of reading material.

The Retreat, a three storey architect designed house, is set among 700 year old native trees. It was built by the owners to accommodate six people and you can enjoy the bird life from the private balcony.

The homestead has two-ensuite bedrooms with private verandahs and sunken bath. On farm activities include tennis, petanque, croquet, fishing, river swimming, farm walks, 4WD farm tours.
