Charming, historic and homely, Chez La Mer Backpackers is set amongst a large private garden, an oasis for weary travellers. There are two well-equipped kitchens, (guests are welcome to use the fresh herbs and spices), a lounge, dining room and sun porch. Accommodation consists of double rooms, twin rooms, a triple room, and five and four bed dormitories.

Enjoy free brewed coffee, tea and homemade muesli. Take one of the many walks in the area and kayak or swim with Hector dolphins. Free mountain bikes and fishing rods available for your use and special backpacker boat/fishing trips and 4WD tours.
