Skiwi House Backpackers is a small friendly hostel in the rural township of Methven. Full kitchen facilities, twin, double and share rooms all heated, cosy log fire in lounge, drying room, laundry, all linen included.

In winter, Skiwi House Backpackers is the base for the Mt Hutt ski field and is a great stopover for cyclists and travellers on Inland Scenic Route 72. All year round there is hot air ballooning, tramping, golf, fishing, horse riding and parachuting, or just sit back and relax in this awesome rural setting.
