Bellmain House

Take a break from the ordinary with a holiday at Bellmain House in Whangarei. This lovely old house operates as a bed and breakfast, providing comfortable and affordable accommodation. Onsite is also a small, self contained cottage which sleeps three guests.

Owners and hosts of Bellmain House, Marion and Graeme, aim to make guests feel welcome in their home, preparing a varied breakfast daily, and other meals on request. Breakfast includes fresh fruit, home-made muesli and preserved fruits, along with personal requests cooked just for you. Dinner can include local seafood and produce, cooked on the BBQ or in the kitchen, by your hosts.

There are two B&B suites in the main house, both with lounge area and TV. The upstairs suite has two twin bedrooms, ensuite and fantastic sea views. The ground floor unit offers a king-sized bed plus single, TV lounge area and ensuite.

The cottage sleeps four guests in a king and twin room, has a private entrance and large deck with BBQ. Groups are welcome at Bellmain House, with special prices available for longer stays, or those seeking use of both the cottage and suites in the main house.
