Houhora Lodge & Homestay

On the shores of Houhora Harbour in the far north of New Zealand, Houhora Lodge and Homestay is a cedar home set in 3.5 acres of developing grounds. Offering two spacious guest rooms in the northern wing with their own entrances, en suite bathroom, TV, king-sized or twin beds, with views over Houhora Harbour and Mt Camel. The third room is upstairs in the west wing and overlooks the duck pond and farmland, with a private balcony and bathroom.

Relax in the beautiful airy pavilion with bi-fold doors to the east and west to capture the views and amazing sunrises and sunsets. During the cooler months an inviting open fire warms the room for you to listen to music, watch Sky TV, read or enjoy easy conversation.

A complimentary 4WD trip is offered to guests who stay two or more nights to view 90 Mile Beach and the wild horses.
