Taupo Farm Lodge Self-contained Farmstay Accommodation, is a unique private relaxing accommodation experience set in spacious country surroundings 9 km north of Lake Taupo township, 65 km south of Rotorua and only minutes from the beautiful Kinloch beach.

Taupo Farm Lodge is nestled in its own private grounds with 2 sunny deck areas and beautifully maintained gardens with an abundance of bird life. It has it own barbeque area with a 3 burner BBQ, so that you can dine and socialize with your friends or family in privacy.

Taupo Farm Lodge also has outstanding panoramic views that only the unique New Zealand country side can offer, with the Taupo Oruanui valley and the Kaimanua Ranges in one direction and Mount Ngangiho and the Urewera Ranges in the other .

The Lodge's private gardens are fully fenced and contain a tree swing, tree chairs and a picnic area with a hammock so that you can sit back relax and enjoy the colourful flower borders. There is also a 3 man tent available for your children's amusement. Your family is also welcome to help feed some of our friendly animals on the farm, we have sheep, cows, horses, tame goats, an alpaca, miniature kune kune pigs, giant Flemish rabbits, bantams, chickens and ducks.

Special Features: Taupo Farm Lodge is completely self-contained and has recently been completely refurbished and fully equipped with all the comforts of home. The dinning kitchen contains a cooker, microwave, fridge with a small freezer compartment and a dishwasher. Breakfast provisions of home baked bread, our own free range eggs, cereal and fruit will be provided free of charge. The kitchen also has patio doors that open out to a sunny BBQ area. The open plan livening area has a TV and a traditional New Zealand log burner fire for a cosy night in during the winter or to warm you after a hard day skiing on Mt Ruapehu which is only 1½ hrs drive away.
Further Information: Taupo Farm Lodge can sleep up to 6 , It has 1 bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with toilet ,shower, bath and washing machine. The bedroom contains 1 Queen sized bed and 2 single beds and all linen will be provided.The sofa within the living room also extends out to a double bed. A porta-cot is also available. If guests are wanting to take full advantage of Lake Taupo by bringing their boat, Taupo Farm Lodge has its own large safe parking area.We are very easy to find, Just 9km North of Lake Taupo and 5km off State Highway 1 . The Lodge is central to Huka Falls, Huka jet boat, craters of the moon geothermal valley, Orakei Karako Hidden Valley, Taupo Quad bike adventures, Harakeke horse riding and treks and also close to many more of Taupo's activities and attractions.

What a perfect place for a relaxing holiday - and now we even have photographic proof that this cottage is at the end of the rainbow ! We all loved helping Farmer Sam feed the animals each day.
