Villa Victoria was built in 1909 by a retired sea captain who wanted to stay close to the water. It has commanding sea views on two sides and retains the colonial charm of old Nelson.
Sunny verandas on two sides of the house afford spectacular views of the bay to the mountains beyond. The villa is luxuriously appointed, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms to comfortably sleep eight to ten people. The living room retains an old-world charm with French doors onto the verandas and breath-taking views over the sea. The house is furnished with antiques, original artworks, TV, telephone and a well-appointed modern kitchen.
Villa Victoria is situated 5 minutes drive from Nelson city centre and the beach is within easy walking distance. Nelson's famous seafood restaurant the "Boat Shed" is just a stone's throw away.
