Just off the trail, this sometimes wild, always wonderful, expansive West Coast beach is a great place to relax. Enjoy your sunny, comfortable cottage as you glimpse the sea, and breakfast at your leisure with generous provisions supplied in the cottage for you.

Your cottage is two minutes walk to the beach and cliff top walkways.

Locally we have two great cafes and an 18-hole golf course. Kai Iwi Lakes, Waipoua and Trounsen Park Forests are an easy day trip away.

Baylys Beach is the centre of a small seaside community, situated on the 100km long Ripiro Ocean Beach. The beach is backed by high, golden sand dunes and is the site of many shipwrecks. Ripiro Ocean Beach is New Zealand's longest driveable beach, longer than the more famous 90 Mile Beach at North Cape.
