Sandspit Retreat

Sandspit Retreat offers two luxury holiday houses set in a large subtropical garden right on the water's edge. The completely self contained, architecturally designed guesthouses have extensive facilities that will please adults and children alike.

Both houses at Sandspit are open-plan with large sunny verandas, open plan lounge/dining and self contained kitchens. The main house at Sanspit Retreat has five bedrooms (sleeping 10 guests), three bathrooms, laundry and gymnasium. The guest house has one bedroom and two beds in the lounge room, a spa pool on the veranda and use of kayaks and a dinghy at the private mooring. A great feature is the games room with X Box, routed slot car track, rock climbing wall, snooker/pool and table tennis.

The main house also has a conference room for 15 people and outdoor entertaining areas with BBQ. Sandspit Retreat makes the ideal location for a corporate seminar, a private holiday or as a base while exploring Kawau Island.
