Rothesay was originally built as Hunterville post office in 1903. Experience the amazing atmosphere created by this historic building. The separate guest accommodation and all facilities are on the first floor in what was the postmasters residence. There is one double bedroom with ensuite, one triple room (queen and single) with ensuite and two queen bedrooms that share an adjacent bathroom. The garden and stream create a peaceful outdoor area, perfect to unwind and connect with nature.
Hunterville is centrally located in the lower end of the North Island, an easy two hours by car from Taupo and Wellington. The Rangitikei area has stunning scenery, many attractive gardens to visit, golf course and the river for fishing, rafting or just enjoying a picnic.
