Pentlands BBH Backpackers Hostel

Pentlands is a lovely old colonial guesthouse built about 1910, set in spacious grounds on the slopes of Mt Eden, Auckland. Located in a quiet street, the hostel is quiet and peaceful while still being close to the city.

Guests at Pentlands can choose from single, double and twin rooms or dorms with three or four people in them. The hostel boasts a private tennis court, open fire in spacious TV lounge, sunny garden with native trees and birds and stunning sunsets. Breakfast is not included but a self catering kitchen means you can prepare your own meals or eat out at some of the great local cafes.

Pentlands backpacker hostel is just 2½km from downtown Auckland and can be accessed by a 25 minute walk or by catching buses 274/275 to Mt Eden Village.
