Station bed and breakfast is located in Te Horo on the Kapiti Coast, 60 km north of Wellington City. Enjoy the special atmosphere and exclusive use of a lovely old New Zealand railway station, which has converted perfectly into a charming, self-catering B&B guest cottage. A NZ rail theme has been used throughout; furnishings and fittings provide charm, comfort and convenience.
The Station B&B has a kitchen, bathroom, lounge and queen-sized bedroom with an adjoining room and extra single bed. It is ideal for couples, and a third person or child. The accommodation is situated in the large grounds of a working pottery, surrounded by established gardens and native trees, with a stunning view of the Tararua ranges.
Guests are welcome in the pottery studio where large salt glazed feature bowls, urns, terracotta birdbaths and column planters are produced and sold. Delicious served breakfast or provisions provided. We are easily found on SH1 60 km from Wellington.
