The Waimana Point retreat sits atop the Mahurangi Peninsula over Kawau Bay, just outside Warkworth. The 17 acre property has extensive beach frontage and no close neighbours, allowing total privacy during your stay.
This new luxury lodge built of stone and cedar offers four fully furnished, tranquil suites for those seeking a relaxed, self contained holiday in a resort setting. All suites have a large bathroom, modern kitchen and dining room, and each has a private patio with outdoor furniture and open-air bathtub. The units occupy the lower floor of the lodge and were designed to provide uninterrupted views of the coast and Kawau Bay beaches, which can be accessed by private tracks from the accommodation. Complimentary kayaks and dinghy are moored for guest use.
The top floor at Waimana Point is open to all guests and has a large dining room with open fireplace, where gourmet meals are served at selected times. The spacious lounge room is equipped for small conferences and functions, and the whole property is available for exclusive use by families, groups and corporations. Guests are also welcome to visit the top floor to read in the library, relax in the huge sauna, do some laps in the indoor pool or sweat it out in the gym.
