Otaki Oasis Backpackers Hostel

Otaki Oasis is a small friendly hostel, set amid farmland with thoroughbreds and ponies as your next door neighbours. Located between the ocean and the hills, it offers a peaceful retreat only minutes away from the local town.

An established organic garden with many varieties of fruit trees surrounds the property, free range eggs are available and they'll cook to spec if you know the recipe, while you relax in the clean and cosy accommodation.

You can have a horse riding lesson or go out for a trek through Tararua Forest or spend a day sunning yourself at the beach. Only a 2 minute walk away you'll find the shops, supermarket and local tavern on S.H.1.
