The Missing Leg provides a unique backpacking experience, set in a building full of unusual curios, inspired by Brian's love of bikes, offering a variety of accommodation to suit all budgets.

A small range of activities are available to do while you stay. Borrow one of the famous bikes to go for a ride or try a spot of Maori weaving, a great way to get a taste for Maori art.

Your hosts Brian aka Gandalf the Grey and Jo are a creative pair, who constantly change and add their quirky stamp to the building. You're bound to enjoy the friendly atmosphere and warm kiwi hospitality.

My boyfriend and I stayed here a few weeks ago and chose it because it was the cheapest double room we could find in the area ($44/night according to their website).
