Buscot Station Backpackers Hostel is an original homestead on a working Merino sheep and cattle station. Providing single, double, twin and dormitory accommodation surrounded by farmland and gardens.

Explore the many walks, particularly around the Clay Cliffs with its series of pinnacles and ridges separated by deep, narrow ravines and canyons, go fly fishing or horse trekking, or take in the surrounds by scenic helicopter or glider.

Local Area: Situated in the Southern Mackenzie Country midway between Lake Tekapo and Cromwell/Wanaka on State Highway 8, Omarama is famous for its unparalleled gliding conditions. Close to the summer playground of Lake Benmore, Omarama's scenery is among some of New Zealand's most striking and many scenes from Lord of the Rings were filmed in the area.
