Punakaiki Beach Hostel

Punakaiki Beach Hostel can accommodate up to 44 people in one of their two well located houses, both with fabulous sunset views. The Beach Hostel is right on the beach and the Seaside Hostel is set in a quiet garden setting and is an ideal space for larger groups. Accommodation consists of clean and warm double, twin, single and bunk rooms with laundry facilities available in both houses.

Punakaiki is the starting point for all the activities in this part of the West Coast. The famous Pancake Rocks are located just 300m from the Hostel, and you can access one of the many native bush walks within Paparoa National Park from this point. Kayak the unique limestone gorges, go tramping or horse riding, or take a night walk along the beach and around the lagoon beneath the spectacular starscape.
