Koanui Backpackers Hostel

Koanui Backpackers & Lodge provides spacious, comfortable, modern accommodation for visitors to the Blenheim area.

Koanui Backpackers consists of two separate buildings - the hostel building for people wanting to stay a few weeks to take advantage of the casual work available all year round in the area. This building has bedrooms with shared bathroom and kitchen and a comfortable living room with TV.

The lodge building is purpose built and used to accommodate those staying for a shorter time. There are two ensuite double rooms with queen sized beds and TV, two twin ensuite rooms and a spacious six bed dormitory with adjoining bathroom facilities. The lodge has its own kitchen and living room areas. Groups of 14 or more can have exclusive use of the kitchen and living areas of the lodge.

Other facilities include a pool and internet access, guests are welcome to make use of tennis racquets and fishing rods, and bicycles can be hired to tour local wineries. Koanui Backpackers is situated on the outskirts of town, within 5 minutes walk of the Blenheim town centre, a supermarket, post office, movie theatre, swimming pool, gymnasium, information centre, railway station and the bus depot.
