Paekakariki BBH Backpackers Hostel is located in the lovely coastal village of Paekakariki, just 30 minutes north of Wellington (with trains every 30 minutes to/from Wellington).

Paekakariki Backpackers comfortably accommodates 17 adult and child guests in six rooms (two houses)-and has generous indoor/outdoor cooking, dining and relaxing areas. Choice from dorm or double rooms with shared bathroom, or an ensuite room with private deck and bathroom. The hostel has a comfortable lounge with wood burning fireplace, outdoor decks and trampoline.

Walk up the path to this charming hilltop hideaway and be rewarded with great sea views across Cook Strait to the South Island and spectacular sunsets over the ocean. The hostel is a two minute walk to a long, uncrowded sandy beach.
