Lake Te Anau Lakefront BBH Backpackers Hostel

Lake Te Anau Lakefront Hostel is located on the edge of Lake Te Anau, a five minute walk from the cafes, restaurants and shops. Te Anau is the gateway town to the Fiordland World Heritage National Park. Great base camp for Fiordland hiking, especially Kepler and Milford Tracks.

There are some lovely views of the lake and mountains from the balconies or you can lie on the shores of the lake to take in the view. Behind the hostel is a BBQ and garden area in which to relax. The hostel also has a fully equipped community kitchen, a luxury spa, guest lounge with log fire and even a coin-operated laundry and a drying room.

The range of accommodation includes dormitories with five beds, room overlooking lake with four beds, twin rooms, double rooms and single rooms. Premium twin and double rooms are located in two-room fully self-contained apartments. Each apartment contains one double bedroom and one twin room, plus separate lounge, kitchen, and bathroom with laundry.
