Located on the banks of the Silverstream river, Silverstream Trout Lodge offers a fully self contained loft fitted with studio kitchen, stylishly decorated living area, queen size bedroom with en suite bathroom, double and single fold out beds and double doors opening onto the balcony.

Set on 16 acres, with almost a kilometre of river that is yours to fish at no charge, there is always a rod set up for you to take a stroll along the rivers edge. A stunning setting for your private retreat and located only 15 minutes from Christchurch International Airport.

Fly fishing adventures can also be arranged, ranging from relaxing or as challenging as you like. Catering for all levels of fisherman from novice to advanced, with all tackle supplied if requested.

Special Features: 'The Turtle' is a 1966 series 2 Landrover. She has had a full 'work over' and is offered for hire/rent to save on accommodation dollars and travel time by camping beside the rivers you want to fish. The Turtle has a 4 speed manual gearbox, and is 4WD. Slow but reliable, complete with 2 bunks, bench top cooker, sink, fridge, stereo, table, stocked pantry, maps and fishing references, pots n pans... even a deck of cards and a Frisbee all you need to bring is your rod and a sense of adventure!
