The Gatekeeper's Cottage is a self-contained cottage built in the 1920's, extensively refurbished offering a delightful combination of old world charm with modern comforts and conveniences. The cottage contains three bedrooms and sleeps up to 5 people.

The Gatekeeper's Cottage has a well-equipped kitchen with all the modern cooking conveniences, including fridge, microwave and dishwasher, a separate laundry hosts a washing machine, iron and ironing board, dryer and second toilet. The living area features a gas fire, television, DVD player, CD player, stereo, bookcase and internet access. The newly renovated bathroom has a separate shower, vanity and toilet.

Location: The cottage is a 10 minute drive from Christchurch International Airport and situated on the main West Coast Road which is a leisurely hour and a half drive to some of the most magnificent ski fields and only 3 hours to the scenic West Coast and glaciers.
Things to do: The International Antarctic Centre is a definite "must see" and has been giving people the opportunity to experience the awesome and magical beauty of Antarctica first-hand for well over a decade.
