Centrally located, Mainstreet Lodge is a well equipped backpackers lodge in Kaitaia - Gateway to Cape Reinga and 90 Mile Beach. Offering 18 rooms (100 beds) including single, double, twin and family rooms with en suites and 4, 5 or 6-bed dormitories. Accommodation has two kitchens, outdoor BBQ and pizza oven, Internet facilities and two TV rooms.

Take a day tour to the Cape Reinga via ancient Kauri Kingdom, Gumdiggers Park and the magical sand dunes of 90 Mile Beach. Go sand-boarding on Ninety Mile Beach for the adventure of a lifetime. Day tours pick-up at Mainstreet Lodge and cost only $40-$60pp including lunch. Visit Ahipara during your stay - only a 15-minute drive away - try surfing, quad bikes on the beach or blo-karting.
