Paratiho Cottage used to be a modern fully self-contained two bedroom cottage with log fire and panoramic views of Lake Taupo. Situated just 13kms west from Turangi, off SH 41, the "Paratiho's" (paradise) 6.5acre site commands striking panoramic views of Lake Taupo, surrounding mountains and countryside.

Paratiho is now home to one of the largest art collections in New Zealand. Presented here is a sample of the collection which comprises over 400 pieces of fine art paintings, sculpture and ceramics by both local and international artists.

Things to do: Only minutes drive from beautiful safe swimming beaches, bush walking tracks, boat launching ramps, thermal hot pools and world famous Tongariro River and fly-fishing rivers that flow into the southern end of Lake Taupo, home of Rainbow and Brown Trout of amazing size and condition.
