Springfield Hotel and Backpackers is an old style New Zealand country pub offering hotel accommodation, backpacker facilities, several power sites for camper vans and even room for tents if you so desire.
Situated in the village of Springfield on the Great Alpine State Highway 73, Springfield is known as the gateway to the Alps and was once a stop for the legendary Cobb and Co Stage Coaches until the railway arrived. A place where you can have a drink with the local farmers, musterers, shearers and folk from the rural community while enjoying a meal in the Hotel bistro.
