Situated on 2 acres of landscaped gardens, with the best of New Zealand right on your doorstep, from skiing at Mt Hutt to golf at Terrace Downs. Choose from a range of activities such as guided trout fishing, shooting, guided walking or heli-skiing, or a program can be organised for you by Whitestone Cottages.

Getting There: Leaving Christchurch take the Main South Road (State Highway 1) following signs for Timaru. After approximately 40 minutes you will cross the Rakaia bridge and arrive in Rakaia. At the Mobil garage turn right into Elizabeth Ave, following signs for Methven (37 km). On arrival in Methven, turn left at the Mobil garage into Main St and drive straight through town. Whitestone Cottages is the last property on your left as you leave town heading south towards Ashburton.
