The apartments are only two minutes stroll from Nelson Cathedral and a five minute walk to local cafes, restaurants and shopping areas. Base yourself here to be convenient for all Nelson has to offer; yet only a short drive takes you to vineyards, wineries, tramping areas, beaches, golf courses, arts, crafts, the Abel Tasman, Kahurangi and Nelson Lakes National Parks.

Further Information: 404 was designed by noted Nelson architect William Houlker, in 1934. The building has been sensitively restored and now takes a proud place on one of Nelsons oldest residential streets. Below us the town is a short walk, with all amenaties within an easy reach - while behind us The Grampians rise up and provide a green backdrop, with several close and scenic walks up their ridgelines.
Further Information: We like to meet our guests, and will often share time over drinks in our beautiful Penthouse. The building is characterful and idiosynchratic - very calm and easy going. As we live in the building ourselves, we are able and willing to assist our guests at all times in any way we can. Just stay out of the Wine Cellar! The Penthouse is available for occupancy, but for a minimum stay of 14 nights, at a premium tariff of NZD 1000.00 per night. The Penthouse is another planet.
