Fernlea Bed and Breakfast was the Southland Tourism Award Winner 2000-2002. The residence has a cottage that is nestled in its own private cottage garden - it is completely self contained and can sleep four people.

Fernlea is a working dairy farm of 300 acres and home to 200 Holstein Friesian cows, a small flock of sheep, free range hens and 4 doves.

Located on the Southern Scenic Route, it is an ideal location for you to relax and enjoy a taste of New Zealand farm life on your journey to discover the Catlins or as a stopover en route to Stewart Island, Te Anau or Queenstown.
